Asombroso La Rosa Reposado Tequila, featuring over 300 reposado tequilas, was awarded the "Gold Medal" by the Tasting Panel magazine of the World Spirits Competition. Once a final filtration is completed, tequila is "rested" (reposado) for three months in previously used French oak casks. Asombroso La Rosa is the world's first Bordeaux wine barrel rested tequila. The Bordeaux resting process imparts a natural pink color, giving the reposado a subtly sweet finish. The result is an unparalleled tasting experience. The nose is sweet and pleasantly fragrant. Aerating reveals the complex characteristics of a fine vintage Bordeaux. The notes include cherry, vanilla, and mild oak.
