Bols Genever Original Gin is crafted by Lucas Bols, a historic distillery founded in 1575 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. This gin is made according to the original 1820 Bols Genever recipe, which features a smooth, malty palate with subtle apricot notes and hints of juniper. The gin is triple distilled to create a malt spirit, and it is blended with 22 botanicals, including juniper berries, hops, coriander, cloves, and ginger, with 42% alcohol by volume (ABV).

Bols Genever Original Gin is known for its complexity and character, making it a versatile mixing spirit for a wide variety of cocktails. It pairs well with classic cocktails like the Negroni and Martinez and contemporary creations. The gin's malt richness makes it suitable for drinking neat, on the rocks, or in simple mixed drinks like a Dutch Coke, which combines ginger with cola.
