Castello Banfi Bell'Agio Chianti

Castello Banfi Bell'Agio Chianti is known for its traditional straw-covered fiasco bottle and is a timeless Italian favorite. With a vibrant ruby-red hue, this wine is made with grapes like Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Nero Trebbiano, and Malvasia from the Hillside vineyards in the Chianti DOCG district region, nestled in the Monti del Chianti or Colline del Chianti Tuscany mountains areas renowned for wine. The vines thrive in calcareous, well-structured, poor and stony soils, contributing to the wine's remarkable depth and structure.

Crafted using traditional techniques, Bell'Agio Chianti undergoes a two-week fermentation on the skins at controlled temperatures, followed by malolactic fermentation in stainless steel to enhance its smoothness. The wine then matures in the bottle for at least three months before release, achieving a refined balance with an alcohol content of 12.5% alcohol by volume (ABV).
