El Enemigo Malbec is produced by Bodega Aleanna, a collaboration between renowned Argentine winemaker Alejandro Vigil and Adrianna Catena, a historian and winemaker. The winery is located in the prestigious Uco Valley region of Mendoza, Argentina, known for its high altitude vineyards that contribute to the exceptional quality of the grapes. The wine is made primarily from Malbec grapes, with a blend that may include Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot with 13.5% alcohol by volume (ABV).

The aging process for El Enemigo Malbec involves 15 months in French oak barrels, which imparts a unique character and complexity to the wine. This careful aging process allows the wine to develop rich flavors and a well balanced structure. When it comes to food pairings, El Enemigo Malbec is incredibly versatile.
