Joto Yuzu, known as The Citrus One, is a sake crafted by the Izumo Fuji Brewery located in Izumo, Shimane, Japan. This unique beverage is a blend of sake and Yuzu juice, made from locally grown Yuzu fruit. The Fuji Brewery, founded in 1939, has been managed by the third generation of the Imaoka family. Yuzu is a cherished Japanese citrus fruit with a delightful combination of sweet and tart flavors reminiscent of mandarin oranges, Meyer lemons, and Key limes. With an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 9%, Joto Yuzu strikes a perfect balance between sweetness and acidity, making it a refreshing choice. Pronounced tartness, with notes of Meyer lemon and mandarin orange. Tart and sweet in the finish. It is best enjoyed on the rocks with a splash of soda. Mixes well to create fantastic cocktails.
