Kavalan Vinho Barrique Cask Strength is a premium single malt Taiwanese whiskey produced by Kavalan Distillery in Yilan County, Taiwan. This whiskey is fully matured in used American oak wine barrels that have been toasted and recharred, bringing out rich, fruity vanilla notes and a complex background of pepper, spice, dates, ripe melon, mango, kiwi, and citrus fruits. The cask strength version boasts an impressive 55.6% alcohol by volume (ABV), offering a bold and intense flavor profile.

This whisky has received numerous accolades, including a Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2023 and a Gold Medal at the International Spirits Challenge in 2024.
