Louis Roederer Collection 242 is a distinguished multi vintage champagne crafted by Champagne Louis Roederer S.A. in France. This exceptional blend features predominantly Chardonnay, complemented by Pinot Noir and Meunier, sourced from select plots in Champagne's finest terroirs, including La Vallee de la Marne, La Cote des Blancs, and La Montagne de Reims. The ripe Chardonnay grapes provide sweet fruit aromas. At the same time, the Pinot Noir and Meunier add a broad, luscious, and smooth character. The making process of Collection 242 reflects Louis Roederer's commitment to quality and innovation. The blend is based on a "Perpetual Reserve," initiated with the 2012 vintage and enriched annually with wines from the latest harvest. This reserve is stored in large stainless steel vats to enhance freshness and balance the maturity of the grapes. Each parcel is vinified separately, allowing for a precise and harmonious blend that showcases the unique qualities of each vintage. It has 12% alcohol by volume (ABV).
