    Product Description

McManis Cabernet Sauvignon is a powerful red wine produced in Lodi, California, USA, by McManis Family Vineyards. The richness of California's Central Valley, where warm days, cool nights, and well-drained soils provide the perfect environment for growing premium red varietals, is reflected in this estate-produced wine. Grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness to ensure the development of deep flavor and balance.

This expressive wine is made primarily from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, blended with small amounts of Petite Sirah, Petit Verdot, and Tannat to enhance its structure, color, and depth. After fermenting on the skins for 7 to 9 days to extract vibrant color and bold tannins, the wine is gently pressed and aged for 4 to 6 months in a blend of French and American oak barrels, adding subtle spice and mocha complexity with an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 13.5%.

The McManis Cabernet Sauvignon produces a deep garnet color and opens with layers of blackberry, blueberry, and black cherry flavors, which are carried off by dried floral undertones and smoky oak notes. Black currant, mulberry, and mocha flavors emerge on the palate, accompanied by notes of vanilla, clove, and shaved chocolate, culminating in a velvety, long-lasting finish.

This medium-bodied wine is an excellent choice for both informal dinners and heavier meals, as it pairs well with grilled steaks, Chinese beef noodles, roasted lamb, aged cheddar, and mushroom risotto.
